Some essential tips & tricks to search in Google.

1. Find definition of any word
    define:google
    define:internet

2. Find stuffs direct from the website
    site:apple.com free “iPhone Apps”

3. Find Free Anonymous Web Proxies
    inurl:”nph-proxy.cgi” “start using cgiproxy”
    inurl:”nph-proxy.cgi” “Start browsing through this CGI-based proxy”

4. Lists of other pages that link to the URL
    link:URL

5. Shows only results with terms in title
    allintitle:WORD

6. Shows only pages with all search terms in the url
    allinurl:WORD

7. Similar to allintitle, but only for the next word
    intitle:WORD

8.  Show the Google cached version of the URL
    cache:URL

9. Restrict searches to that filetype
    filetype:SOMEFILETYPE

10. Shows you how many pages of your site are indexed by Google
    site:www.microsoft.com “+www.microsoft.com”

11. Search for either the word A or B
    WordA OR WordB
